Today is Ancestor’s Day

Today marks the beginning of Pchum Ben, or Ancestors’ Day, in Cambodia.  This national holiday was established as a time for the Khmer people to pay their respects to deceased relatives by cooking their favorite meals for Buddhist monks and making offerings to the spirits of loved ones who have passed.
