5 Reasons to Join Us This Sunday

We’ve already heard from many of you that you will be coming to our screening of Enemies of the People this Sunday.  To those of you looking for a great way to spend the day, here are a few reasons why you should come on over to the Alamo Village and join us!

1. This will be Austin’s premiere screening of the award-winning film.

2. Historical significance: April 17 is Cambodian Genocide Commemoration Day.  On this date in 1975, the Khmer Rouge regime took over Phnom Penh and in turn the rest of the country.

3. Cultural significance: This week is Khmer New Year, a festive time when Cambodians celebrate a fresh start.

4. We will launch our Summer Raffle with some great prizes from local businesses.

5. All proceeds go directly into helping build brighter futures for Cambodian communities in need.
